(melodic patterns ) and intricate talas ( rhythms ) offers an experience for awakening the true musical ear.

The student is given an opportunity to listen in a new, attentive way to unfamiliar sounds, and to be guided deeper into his/her being.

In India, "Sangeet Marga", the path of music, aims at "Nada Brahma"- the state beyond silence - music then becomes prayer and union with the Divine. ONE CAN ALSO LEARN THIS STYLE OF MUSIC USING A VIOLIN
