FOOD

Food is served in the main guest house, just near the office house, where dining tables are set on a verandah facing the garden. There Kurup, the chief cook attends to the needs of each guest with his, now legendary smile and care.

Our charges include on the basis of 4 meals a day - breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner, 7 days a week, based on a fixed menu.

The food is fresh and purely Kerala vegetarian and is always served on Banana leaves in the traditional style and eaten with your right hand (as are most of the actions of taking or giving). The cuisine is that of well-to-do Kerala families; tasty vegetarian food providing a completely balanced diet- carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals - essential nutriments in order to supply bodily needs and maintain the energy level necessary to cope with physical exertion in a tropical climate.
