How to reach?

Kerala has three international airports, Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum), Kochi (Cochin) and Kozhikode (Calicut). Kozhikode is in the north of Kerala and Aranmula is almost between Thirivananthapuram(to the south) and Kochi(to the north). Hence you can try to get direct flights to Thiruvananthapuram or Kochi. Many International carriers land at these airports. The other options are to fly Mumbai (Bombay) or Chennai (Madras). You can then either fly to Kochi or travel by train to Kerala.

You can book online for most domestic flights in India. Earlier you book, the more cheaper it can be. You can try prices with Indian Airlines,King Fisher Airlines, Jet Airways,Air Deccan and Paramount Airways. There can be more private airlines in the future.

Chengannur ( in Kochi - Kottayam - Thiruvananthapuram route) is the gateway town to Aranmula and is just 11kms from the centre.

All the major trains between Kochi and Trivandrum, except Rajadhani express stops at Chengannur. Please find some of the useful trains to Kerala.
